The invention regards a coffin or casket from which can be removed small parts by the participants at the funeral in memory of the deceased person. The special design of the Heart Coffer meets the needs and desires of family and friends close to the deceased person to cherish a tangible keepsake to remind them of the last moments together with the departed.
The aim of the invention is to provide a high quality coffin from which it is possible to extract parts, of whatever form, which can be removed by the participants during the funeral ceremony as a keepsake of the deceased, but which fulfils the necessary construction requirements and mechanical strength.
The removable elements form an actual and substantial part of the coffin and can feature on any part of it, including any part of the lid and/or the coffin and/or the frame and/or the upper face of the lid.
